About the Project

WhereisJeanique.com is a project started by the selfportrait-artist Jeanique.

She makes a photo of herself everyday for one year and she posts them on the website www.ilovejeanique.com

Because she really needed to have a summer break but still wanted to post something everyday, she started a new project: "Where is Jeanique?" Jeanique picked 40 selfportraits from her "365 days" project and placed them in several photoframes. She's gonna plant these photoframes all along the road to France, with a card attached to it: Take me, or place me somewhere else!

Everyone who finds a photoframe can do 2 things with it: Take it home, or leave it somewhere else. But whatever their choice is, they need to send an email to mail@whereisjeanique.com with a picture of the photoframe on its new location and info about the new location (exact place and time/date of where and when they left the photoframe).

On this website you can see the exact spot where Jeanique left a photoframe. When she comes back she will update this site with the new photos and locations she received from the photoframe-finders.

It would be so fun to see if the photoframes will travel all around the world!!

Check out www.ilovejeanique.com for all photos of the 365 days project and the stories behind them
